At Least 16 Palestinians were martyrs today by the Israeli occupation army in the Gaza Strip and West Bank.
local sources reported that at least eight Palestinians were killed this evening in an Israeli airstrike which targeted a building in the town of Beit Lahiya, north of the Gaza Strip.
According to witnesses, the attack targeted a residential building, home to members of the al-Kahlout family and displaced civilians, near the Gaza Electric Company in the town of Beit Lahiya.
Emergency responders managed to pull out some of the victims and transfer them to Kamal Adwan Hospital. However, reports indicate that several people remain trapped under the rubble, with rescue teams unable to access the site due to the ongoing airstrikes and the scale of the destruction.
At least four Palestinians were killed, and several others were injured on Tuesday evening in the Israeli shelling of the al-Bureij and Nuseirat refugee camps in the war-torn Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that Israeli warplanes targeted a residential area in the al-Bureij camp, resulting in the killing of three Palestinians.
At least one Palestinian was also killed and others were injured in the occupation’s bombing of a house belonging to the Abu Jalalah family in the Nuseirat camp.
Local sources reported that civilians managed to recover the body of one person, along with several wounded people, from beneath the rubble. The fate of several others still trapped under the rubble remains unknown.
In Jerusalem, a Palestinian man was injured on Tuesday after the Israeli occupation forces shot him in front of the military checkpoint at the Shuafat camp, north of occupied Jerusalem.
Video footage showed the young man lying on the ground covered in blood, without knowing his identity or health condition.
The occupation forces closed the military checkpoint, prevented local residents from moving and stormed the Shuafat camp.
In Jenin, three Palestinians were killed in an Israeli military operation near Jenin in the occupied West Bank on Tuesday.
“There are three bodies of martyrs that are now with the Israeli side, after they killed them,” local governor Kamal Abu Al-Rub said, citing the office in charge of liaising between Israeli and Palestinian authorities in the West Bank.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that it was informed by the Civil Affairs Authority of the killing of the three young men, Raed Abdul Rahman Sadiq Hanaysha, 24, Anwar Nidal Saba’neh, 25, and Adnan Suleiman Tazaza’a, 32, by Israeli forces during the ongoing onslaught on Jenin city and its camp.
The occupation continues its aggression on the city of Jenin and its camp since the early hours, amid widespread destruction of the infrastructure.
