Palestinian Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Mohammad Mustafa, took part in the Arab-Islamic Ministerial Committee meeting which is tasked with international action to halt the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
Mustafa emphasized the need to implement the resolution submitted by the State of Palestine and adopted by the UN General Assembly which demanded the end of Israel’s illegal presence in the occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, in accordance with the Advisory Opinion of the International Court of Justice on the Illegality of the Israeli occupation and the need to end it as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces detained a Palestinian man and his wife on Sunday evening during a raid on the city of Tubas.
The director of the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society in Tubas, Kamal Bani Odeh, said that the occupation forces detained a member of the Fatah Regional Committee in Tubas, Ghassan Majed Daraghmeh, and his wife to pressure their son Jihad to surrender.
Special forces had broken into the city of Tubas earlier, followed by military reinforcements that stormed the city, amidst intensive drone flights.
Confrontations also erupted with the occupation forces inside the city before they withdrew.
Six Palestinians were killed today in an Israeli bombing of Abu Halawa area east of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip, and Abu Al-Hajin south of Deir Al-Balah.
Palestinian Local sources said that Red Crescent crews recovered the bodies of two people from Abu Halawa area, after the occupation forced bombed a group of citizens.
Also, four Palestinians were killed in an occupation warplane bombing of Abu Al-Hajin area south of Deir Al-Balah city in the central Gaza Strip.
