German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock hinted on Tuesday that the international arrest warrant issued against Israeli occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu could be implemented if he enters German territory.
“The federal government abides by the law because no one is above the law,” Baerbock said on the sidelines of a meeting of G7 foreign ministers in the Italian city of Fiuggi.
“The independence of the judiciary is in place, and in this case, the judiciary has reached the conclusion that there is enough evidence to take this step now,” the Green Party minister said.
