The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Doha will host an emergency Arab-Islamic summit to discuss the Israeli attack on the State of Qatar.
The official Qatari news agency (QNA) reported, citing the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, that the emergency Arab-Islamic summit will be held from September 14 to 15 in the capital, Doha.
The Israeli Air Force launched a precision airstrike in Doha, targeting senior leaders of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) during a meeting on former U.S. President Donald Trump’s Gaza proposal. The Israeli military, together with the Shin Bet, confirmed the operation—codenamed “Summit of Fire”—saying it specifically sought Hamas leadership. The strike triggered swift and angry reactions across the region and from the international community.
